Design activities I run as part of the Data exploration and visualisation unit.

Data visualisation

I have taught data visualisation units, both Bachelor and Master level, at Monash University since 2018 (10+ semesters). I have been a head tutor who worked closely with the lecturer in a wide range of activities, including designing teaching and assessment material, leading the teaching team, admin work, and managing student-teaching team communication. Tools that we teach include R (ggplot, shiny), Tableau, D3.js, Vega-Lite, Leaflet, and Mapbox. We also teach theoretical concepts such as Munzner's data visualisation framework, Five Design Sheet methodology, and basic cartography (e.g., map projections, GIS layers).

Other teaching experience

During my tenure at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, I also served as a Tutor for the Computer Science Project Unit, where I provided consultations and guidance for students working on immersive and non-immersive data visualisation projects.

As a Lecturer at the Institute of Technology and Business STIKOM Bali from 2017 to 2018, I taught three units: Programming Principles, Internet Concepts and Infrastructures, and Information System Development Project—while managing unit administration and delivery before the semester, during the semester, and after the teaching period.
